Oliver Company was established in 1985. Over the years, we have assisted small and medium-sized Texas businesses provide competitive, cost efficient, employee benefit plans. These plans provide employers with quality benefits to retain and recruit the personnel needed to grow and flourish. They understand that the success of a business depends on the health and well being of its employees.

Oliver Company's senior managing partner, John Oliver III, knows that well. His 20 plus years of experience in providing Central Texas businesses with quality employee benefit packages was preceded by years of small business ownership and financial experience in the banking and real estate industries in Texas.

John Oliver III

Oliver served in US Army as a commissioned officer in Europe and Fort Hood, Texas from 1966 to 1968. After his discharge from the Army, he worked two years as a Bank Examiner for the Texas Department of Banking. From 1970 to 1978, Oliver worked at City National Bank as a commercial lending officer. Upon leaving CNB as a Senior Vice President, he managed the largest loan portfolio in the Bank. For four years, Oliver worked in the RE industry and investment industry in Austin, Texas. In 2002, he started his career as an Insurance Broker with the formation of Oliver Company specializing in Life and Health. In 2000, this endeavor was formalized by the formation of John C Oliver Interests, LLC. The emphasis of Oliver, has always been quality carriers and quality service. Only major carriers such as Principal, Aetna, Humana, Guardian, Blue Cross Blue Shield and others were vendors.

He has been active in working with a large base of individual and commercial clients serving their Health and Life needs since that time. Due to the changing nature of the Health and Life industry, due to Mr. Obama, the decision was made to start a P&C Agency, 3 Oliver Agency LLC in 2013. Although having significant knowledge of the P&C market and products, Aley Badillo was recruited to assist Oliver in starting and managing the efforts on behalf of 3 Oliver.

As the business grows, the target market for additional support help, will be candidates that have significant managerial and clerical experience in the P&C industry.

Melisa Sharpe

Melisa Sharpe has worked with Oliver Home Healthcare since November of 2011. She is a care coordinator in charge of scheduling and hiring. Melisa works directly with our caregivers, clients and their families. She also handles referrals from the VA, AAA, and other sources. Melisa is a proud mother of a son and is a native of Austin. She earned her Associate degree of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Everest College Online and is currently studying at South University Online for her RN. Melisa truly enjoys working with our clients and helping to improve their quality of life.
